Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency

Welcome to the Providence Hospital OB/Gyn Residency Homepage!

Providence Hospital OB/Gyn is an Academic/Community Based Obstetrics and Gynecology program. We currently have 4 residents per year for a total complement of 16 residents. We have been approved for a 5th position and will be taking 5 per year until we reach our full complement of 20 positions.

Administrative Chief Resident, 2012-13

Dr. Harjeet Harika was selected as the Administrative Chief Resident for the upcoming academic year. Congratulations to her, and we look forward to an excellent year! Katie Kloss will serve the role of scheduling chief.

Research Accolades

We have had several resident projects that have been accepted for presentation or posters at various meetings.

• Dr. Ruhee Sidhu recently presented her data at the World Robotics Conference in Orlando Florida. She did an excellent job and represented our department well!
• Providence Hospital Resident Research Day is April 18. Ruhee Sidhu and Keri Thompson were both selected for presentation. Joelle Mays, Brandi Jones and Aliya Ladha were all selected for posters.
• Dr. Brandi Jones had her research selected for presentation at the Michigan Section of ACOG Annual Junior Fellow Research Day in Lansing Michigan in May.
